Rio Grande Cancer Foundation Resource Directory is a service project of the Cancer Care Network. The Cancer Care Network (CCN) is a consortium of health care and service providers in the El Paso area. The CCN has made every effort to include services and organizations which would be of use to the cancer patient and their families during their diagnosis and treatment. Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCCP)

Cancer and Chronic Disease Consortium (CCDC) is the second largest Center for Disease Control (CDC)-Texas Department of Health Services BCCCP screening provider in Texas. Breast and Cervical Cancer Services program (BCCS) offers clinical breast examinations, mammograms, pelvic examinations, and Pap tests throughout Texas at no or low-cost to eligible women. BCCS is partly funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP). Congress established the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program in 1991 by enacting the Breast and Cervical Cancer Mortality Prevention Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-354). Medicaid for Breast and Cervical Cancer covers eligible uninsured, low-income women with qualifying breast or cervical cancer. By working closely with CCDC, the El Paso Affiliate will continue to refer women who meet eligibility guidelines to the BCCCP.
