A brand to trust — We are honored that Susan G. Komen for the Cure® ranked number one in a recent Harris Interactive poll as the most valued non-profit brand and the charity people are most likely to donate money to. Additionally, Komen for the Cure ranked second on the 2010 list of the nation’s most trusted charities. Thank you to all who help us daily in the fight to end breast cancer!
Our volunteers come in all sizes, shapes and colors, but their hearts are Pink and their caring has no limit.
Are you interested in being a volunteer? Are you a leader, a thinker or a doer? Use your talents in our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever! Now is the time, more than ever. Volunteers provide countless hours contributing their skills to further the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® mission. We will work with your availability. Every minute you spend helping gives another minute of hope to those affected by breast cancer.
Ways to Get Involved with the El Paso Affiliate Public Policy Committee: Komen has made remarkable strides in breast cancer public policy. We are looking for individuals committed to making a difference and willing to join the local movement of breast cancer survivors and activists. We need YOUR help to translate Susan G. Komen for the Cure's promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever into action at all levels of government to discover and deliver the cures. Education Committee: The El Paso Affiliate plans to launch a Survivor Workshop Series in Fall 2011. We are currently looking for individuals to join the Affiliate’s Education Committee and assist with planning the Survivor Workshop Series and additional educational and outreach opportunities. If you are interested in joining the Public Policy or Education Committee, please contact volunteer@komenelpaso.org.
