2nd Annual Worship in Pink

The El Paso Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is proud to introduce Worship in Pink (WIP), a free grassroots effort to partner with local synagogues, churches, and mosques to educate their respective members on breast health and breast cancer.  Participation in the 2nd Annual Worship in Pink program is available September 2011 – January 2012.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is dedicated to saving lives by empowering people. The vision of Worship in Pink is to empower the El Paso community through breast health education. It is an opportunity to celebrate survivors, as well as honor those who have lost their battle. The El Paso Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® will provide a sample bulletin announcement, suggested script, announcement poster, list of programming ideas and breast health information packets to each participating religious organization. Education packets to be distributed to members include basic breast health and breast cancer information with a maximum allotment of 300 packets per organization. Komen El Paso will provide technical assistance upon request.
