Participate in an Event
Whether you are a golfer, a bowler, a chef or a runner, you can contribute to the fight against breast cancer 365 days a year. By participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® or another Komen event, you become part of a grassroots network that has changed the way the world talks about and treats breast cancer. You can make a difference as you celebrate survivorship; honor those who have lost their battle, and most importantly, raise funds and awareness for the fight against this life-threatening disease. There are many different ways to support Komen's mission.

Yoplait "Save Lids to Save Lives®" Pink Lid Challenge
Remember to submit your Yoplait pink lids! For every pink lid that is collected and submitted, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The El Paso Affiliate will receive proceeds based on the number of lids collected in El Paso. The pink lids can be mailed in up until December 31, 2009 or dropped off at our local Komen office at the address below by December 18, 2009. Our goal for lid collection this year is 81,150 lids!
You can even take it a step further and rally your friends, family and coworkers to get involved in the lid drive! Go to www.yoplait.com for fun tools like downloadable posters to get you started! This is a fun and easy community service program in which to involve your children and their clubs or your community service organization.
