Is it because a Mom, a sister, a wife, a friend dies of breast cancer every 75 seconds? Is it because every year 1.1 million women are diagnosed and 410,000 die of breast cancer worldwide? Thousands of committed people throughout the Greater El Paso area show up each year on the third Sunday in February for the Susan G. Komen El Paso Race for the Cure®. They know personally, it's a race against time, with the lives of loved ones hanging in the balance. It may be that they all believe in Komen's quest and can "Imagine ... Life without Breast Cancer™".

Try It On for the Cure® at Coldwater Creek
Join us Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Coldwater Creek at Cielo Vista Mall for the Fall segment of Coldwater Creek's semi-annual Try It On for the Cure® initiative. The event will take place from 12:00pm - 6:00pm with a special Co-Survivors Fashion Show from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. Coldwater Creek will donate $1 to the El Paso Affiliate for every shopper who enters a dressing room and tries on any apparel from Coldwater Creek's extensive collection. For any person who chooses to make an in-store purchase, the retailer will donate 10% percent of the day's sales to the El Paso Affiliate.
